A WELCOME to you……..

A welcome to all visitors. Thanks for visiting the Blog.

From the beginning of the 1980’s I’ve recognised the importance of authentic bible study and preaching. This was a distingushing characteristic of the small group of churches that I came into all those years ago. This is what what Paul says to Timothy in his second letter to Timothy 2:15 Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.”

There is much talk today about what kind of a shape the 21st century church is to be like. Having done some reflection on the questions that surround this theme. I have come to the understanding that the church is called in the 21st century as it is in all times to set forth the gospel of Jesus Christ, to proclaim the riches of the cross and resurrection. To teach of the wonders of the New Covenant relationship we have been born into. To proclaim the infilling of the Holy Spirit for regeneration and sanctification. To uphold and to handle bible truth in a manner that glorifies and honours Jesus Christ.

It is my conviction that this amongst other important issues is the shape that God has defined for his church.
